As you can see, the first post’s picture at the bottom of the page has been removed, I assume, through Scientology’s nonsensical copyrighting of their “religion” and the inertia of its huge legal department pestering and, no doubt, threatening WordPress and/or my IP with legal action. People, please, I appeal to all those who have even a vague understanding of religion and what it stands for. Religion itself is used as a barrier against this world’s ills, a means of giving hope to the people, a means of connecting on a higher level with oneself and a higher power, as well as others. Copyrights are restrictions imposed on material in the interest of keeping the artist’s/author’s/publisher’s/etc/ intellectual property. Does any other religion impose such harsh restrictions upon its very name? What about its core beliefs? How about its religious texts? That’s correct, Scientology has an exclusive copyright on ALL of its texts! Equate that to the Q’uran, the Bible, Talmud, Torah, Dhammapada, or any other holy texts being under the exclusive protection of a single corporation. And a corporation is what CoS really is, for what else but a corporation feels the need to protect their “investment” and keep their plebeians shelling out cash for their publications? Any other holy texts are available for no charge all over the world from ANY religious/spiritual institution; not with the intent to rack in profits, but with the intent to educate, at the discretion of the worshiper’s free will, about whatever religion, and to provide resources to thoughtfully, prayerfully consider either converting or deepening one’s faith. The Church of Scientology desires neither of these goals, rather, they desire to suck every last penny out of its followers, leaving them broken and destitute (see Noah Lottick) and feed the already bloated coffers of the “Church”. Any humane person cannot argue for the copyright protection, and subsequent(significant and repetitive) monetary gains, of any religion spirituality. Citizens of the world, open your eyes!
